Annotation -
Active participation in musical artistic (interpretive instrumental, singing, choirmaster, etc.) courses or in music didactic or music therapy courses. At these courses the student will obtain a certificate of their completion. He/she will write a reflection in which he/she will evaluate the contribution of the course to his/her future artistic and pedagogical practice and the relation to teaching at the Faculty of Education. All students of the Department of Music Education can enroll in the course. The course can be enrolled in each year of study.

Aim of the course

General objectives:

To seek a music arts or didactic course or series of courses individually focused on the student's professional perspective.
Complete selected training courses.
Reflect in writing on the benefits of the course.

Specific objectives:

Evaluate the level of artistic or didactic intentions in building one's own professional profile.
Identify courses that are consistent with this intention.
Consult the selected courses with the instructor.
Complete the selected courses.
Analyse the professional contribution of the course taken.
Reflect in writing on the positives of the course.
Justify the contribution of the completed course to the extension of expertise.
Reflect in writing on the possible negatives of the course.
Justify their impact on the evaluation of the learning process in relation to the purpose for which the course was selected.
Evidence the completion of the project by submitting a reflection and a certificate of attendance or certificate.

Syllabus

In this course, the student has the opportunity to decide on the content of the course. From the range of music and pedagogy courses advertised on the Internet, he/she chooses a course whose suitability he/she consults with the teacher of the HV department responsible for this elective course before starting. It is essential that the course chosen should be aimed at deepening the professional preparation of teachers in the chosen HV subject. It is recommended to choose courses focused on didactics of music education, singing, piano and choir performance seminars, music therapy courses, etc. Recommended course organisers.
