The students actively co-construct the syllabus. Established on home preparation, the seminar activities combine diverse approaches to text and discourse,which stresses interdisciplinarity.

1.Introduction – instruments and objectives of linguistic interpretation of texts and discourse
2.Analyzing samples of fiction, poetry and/or drama
3.Analyzing samples of academic, legal and/or political discourse
4.Analyzing samples of newspaper, magazine and/or advertising discourse
5.Analyzing samples of textbooks, manuals, guidebooks and/or simplified texts (graded readers)
