Annotation
The development of the personality of the choir singer with a focus on readiness of the choral parts reading, the culture of vocal expression and artistic representation of an interesting and demanding repertoire of the female choir with a large share of independent preparation.

Aim of the course

Recognise the social dimension of artistic collaboration, formulating its positive and negative aspects.
To apply knowledge and skills from intonation and auditory analysis.
Interpret more difficult artificial compositions for women's choirs.
Systematically develop all categories of vocal interpretation, focusing on the cultivation of vocal technique.
To participate in the organisational preparation and practical delivery of concert performances.

Syllabus

Regular weekly choir rehearsals.
Basics of choral interpretation using all means of musical expression, vocal technique, declamation.
Repertoire, dates of rehearsals and concerts will be determined before the start of the term.
Participation in the organisation of a concert performance, social performance on stage.
