This course offers an overview of selected key terms, notions and phenomena of fundamental linguistic and literary disciplines from the Bachelor study programme. As the course consolidates knowledge, contextualises key terms and summorises these disciplines, its primary aim is to enhance the students' performance at the Bachelor state examination.
The syllabus of the course stems from the basic thematic units of the individual disciplines, that are as follows:

6. Older English Literature
7. English Literature to the End of the 19th Century
8. American Literature to the End of the 19th Century
