Annotation -
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with the issue of teaching productive and receptive speech skills in Russian in the context of teaching Russian in the Czech school environment. The emphasis is placed primarily on the formation of practical skills of students in the effective use of individual techniques that lead to the formation of skills in independent oral and written expression of students in Russian in primary and secondary schools.

Requirements to the exam

Thematic topics for the exam:

1. Relationships between speaking skills and linguistic resources

2. Requirements for the mastery of speech skills in curriculum documents and their implementation in current RJ textbooks

3. The teaching of speaking skills

4. Teaching writing

5. Teaching reading

6. Teaching listening

7. Concept of the common part of the final examination in Russian language and its evaluation

8. The use of didactic means in practicing speaking skills

The examination has a written and an oral part. The minimum pass rate for the oral part is 70%, successful completion of the written exam is a condition for passing the oral part of the exam. The written and oral parts of the examination are taken on the same day.

Syllabus

1. Types of speech activity, relationships between different speech skills.

2. Concepts and requirements for speech skills in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, in the Framework Educational Programmes and other pedagogical documents.

3. Linguistic and psychological foundations of the acquisition of productive speech skills.

4. Teaching oral expression - methodological rules, methodological errors, typology of exercises, control and evaluation of pupils' oral expression.

5. Teaching written expression - methodological rules, methodological errors, typology of exercises, control and evaluation of pupils' written expression.

6. Control and evaluation of pupils' oral and written speech in the state matriculation examination in Russian language.

7. The use of didactic aids and didactic techniques for the development of productive speech skills.

8. Linguistic and psychological foundations of the acquisition of receptive speech skills.

9. Teaching listening comprehension - methodological rules, methodological errors, typology of exercises and types of texts, checking and evaluation of listening comprehension.

10. Teaching reading comprehension - methodological rules, methodological errors, typology of exercises and types of texts, checking and evaluation of reading comprehension.

11. Selection of texts for listening and reading comprehension, working with the text.

12. Use of didactic aids and didactic techniques for the development of receptive speech skills.

Learning outcomes

Students
- Describe the types of speech activity and explain the interrelationships between them,

- explain the concepts and requirements for speaking skills in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, the Framework Educational Programmes and other pedagogical documents,

- explain the linguistic and psychological foundations of the acquisition of productive language skills,

- list and explain the methodological rules and methods for teaching individual speech skills, demonstrating all this with concrete examples from textbooks and its own teaching materials,

- know the typology of exercises for the development of individual speech skills and are able to create them,

- know the principles and methods of assessing individual speech skills,

- select appropriate texts for the development of speech skills at the appropriate level of communicative competence and create appropriate tasks for them,

- know the techniques of working with text as a means of developing speaking skills,

- use appropriate didactic aids and didactic techniques for the development of speech skills.
