Education is based on attaining concrete aims - its result should be gaining certain skills and knowledge. However, the course of education is at the same time markedly connected with the way through which we perceive the reality of the surrounding world. In the subject of theory of education we shall search the interconnection of education with its three basic theoretical pillars which pedagogy is based on: philosophy, ideology and theory. Examples of possible themes: Philosophy and pedagogy (idealism and existentialism) |
