The course provides students with the theoretical basics of student school problem behavior and juvenile delinquency. Selected types of problem behavior are described in more detail, factors contributing to children aggression are discussed, and theories of deviant behavior are introduced. The course also acquaints students with interventions and strategies used to prevent and manage student problem behavior in schools.

The goal of the course is to 1) acquaint students with historical, social, and theoretical background of student school problem behavior and juvenile delinquency and 2) present variety of interventions and strategies used to prevent and manage student problem behavior in schools.
