The aim of the course is to provide students with an overview of German written literature from the mid-1920s to 1945 on the backdrop of European political and spiritual climate. Cognition and aesthetic recognition of selected literary works. Developing communicative skills in relation to literary and cultural topics. Didactic reflection. The course has been taught in German.

The aim of the course is to provide students with an overview of German written literature from the mid-1920s to 1945 against the backdrop of European political 
and spiritual climate. Cognition and aesthetic acquisition of selected literary works, emphasis on didactic mediation of literary life.

Sylabus (přednáška):

 Německy psaná literatura od r. 1925 do r. 1945:

- politicko-historický kontext, poválečná situace, Výmarská republika

 - žánry, obsahové a formální experimenty

- dominantní tendence v literatuře Výmarské republiky

- „Nová věcnost“ v lyrice, epice a dramatu

 - reflexe 1. světové války v německé literatuře

- drama a divadlo (1920-1933)

- nástup fašismu a jeho následky pro kulturu a literaturu, kulturně-historický kontext   

- literatura "vnitřní emigrace"

- antifašistická literatura

- exilová centra, časopisy, vydavatelství, Praha jako exilové centrum

- literatura a kultura v hitlerovském Německu

- spor o německou literaturu po osvobození
