History The course is designed comprehensively in terms of the existence of string and keyboard instruments and their impact on the development of society. All information is placed in the context of the historical role of the instrument in the musical performing arts, pedagogical practice and in social life. Literature Instrumental literature is studied in the context of the development of the composer's personality, social and historical events and, at the same time, also with regard to the cultural and economic development of Europe. Part of the course includes listening activities. A main part of all aspects of the subject is an insight into the history and present of interpretive art.
