The students are presented with selected topics of classical tradition that have been and still are influencing the Euro-American civilisation. The class starts with explaining the role of Latin and continues through classical mythology, literature, rhetorics, law, philosophy and music. The students should understand the role of the classical antiquity as one of the main roots for later historical and cultural development.
