Course aim: The development and perfection of students’ skills in specific areas of communication with emphasis on day-to-day and professional practice. Course summary: Extended language and methodological preparation for topics required for various foreign language exams, especially for the nationwide "maturita" exam. (A levels) Work in the seminar is focused on correction of grammatical mistakes, vocabulary extension and work with texts. The emphasis is on dialogical and monological oral and written expression and on search for information in a foreign language and the ways of processing and mediating it. Topics: Private life of a human being. Human being and work. Individual and society. Human being and nature. Human being and technology. Human being and science. Human being and art.
