Annotation -
Target. Detailed introduction and later reliable orientation in the key parts and scores of important composers of the period of late romanticism and early 20th century. Instrument literature is studied in the context of the development of the personality of the composer and at the same time in the context of the cultural and economic development of Europe, with the social and historical context. Listening activity is a part of the course. A constant part of all aspects of the course is an insight into the history and present of art of interpretation. Students are led to independent creative pedagogical and artistic work with instrument literature. The subject is a motivational basis for future theoretical work of students, for repertoire creation and for dramaturgical work. Content. In this semester, students deal with late romantic instrumental literature and literature from the early 20th century, both European and Czech. The context and circumstances of the essence and origin of individual works are incorporated into listening activities, development of the interpretative and pedagogical art.
