The aim of the seminar is to acquaint students with the philosophy of the Reading and writing for Critical thinking (RWCT) program, methods of active learning and the possibilities of applying these methods in lessons of communication and composition. Students will learn how to motivate pupils to want to write and speak. Based on their own experience they will find how writing and discussion are closely linked to thinking and how they can be used as a thinking tool at school. They will learn how to combine the Teaching of key competencies with the teaching of Curriculum studies.

Cílem semináře je seznámit studenty s filosofií programu Čtením a psaním ke kritickému myšlení (RWCT), s metodami aktivního učení a s možnostmi využití těchto metod v hodinách komunikační a slohové výchovy. Studenti se naučí, jak pomáhat žákům, aby chtěli psát a mluvit. Na základě vlastního prožitku zjistí, jak jsou psaní a diskuse úzce propojeny s myšlením a jak je lze také jako nástroj myšlení ve škole využít. Naučí se spojit výuku ke klíčovým kompetencím s výukou obsahu oboru (učiva).
