The entry level for this course is B2-C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, attained in the four semesters of the Modern English course and in the first semester of English in Multicultural Europe I. The content is based on the need to get acquainted with and understand the complex situations that exist today in a multicultural European Union. Special emphasis is put on a further development of communicative skills and on the build-up of vocabulary related to the European Union.

Předmět staví na znalostech a dovednostech získaných ve čtyřech semestrech kurzu Moderní angličtina I ? IV a je pokračováním kurzu Angličtina v multikulturní Evropě I. Náplň kurzu vychází z aktuální potřeby orientovat se v komplexní situaci multikulturní Evropské unie. Důraz je kladen na rozvoj komunikativních dovedností a rozšíření slovní zásoby vztahující se k Evropské unii.
