Course profile: This course aims to familiarize students with various translation techniques, applied to selected samples of
Anglo-American and Czech short fiction, journalism and radio interviews. A predominant part of the course material will be
translated from English into Czech. The class is typically divided into groups of two students who cooperate in translating the
assigned course material.
Credit requirements: A digital portfolio of translations done during the course.
