English

The aim of the course is to develop the four basic language skills further from the presupposed starting level of B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This is the first stage of a six-semester course. The teaching is based on a systematic work with a coursebook (see Jones, Bastow and Hird below).

Cílem předmětu je rozvoj jazykových dovedností, přibližně od úrovně B1+ Společného evropského referenčního rámce pro jazyky. Jde o první semestr šestisemestrálního kurzu. Systematicky se pracuje s učebnicí a rozvíjejí se praktické dovednosti v oblasti mluvního projevu, čtení s porozuměním, poslechu s porozuměním a písemného projevu.
