Based on the seminars Introduction to Russian literature and Russian literature of 19th and 20th centuries it extends the analysis of the literary-scientific approach to fiction. Possibilities how to use the artistic texts in foreign language teaching, specific examples are given. The selection of authors and topics varies according to particular students' needs and interests.
