The aim of the course is to acquaint students with control and use of programs for dynamic geometry (Cabri) and with computer algebra systems (Mathematica).

Výuka je organizována formou cvičení. V první polovina semestru (7 lekcí) se studenti seznámí s možnostmi programů Cabri II a Cabri 3D. Druhá polovina semestru (6 lekcí) bude věnována seznámení se základy ovládání programu Mathematica. V rámci předmětu budou studenti pomocí programů řešit různé matematické úlohy, přičemž budou konfrontování i s úlohami, které uvedené programy neumí vyřešit, nebo je řeší chybně. Velký důraz bude kladen na samostatnou práci studentů.

The teaching is organised in seminars. In the first half of the term, the students will be acquainted with Cabri II and Cabri 3D programs. In the second half of the term, basic work with Mathematica will be done. The students will solve various mathematical problems in the programs, including those which cannot be solved by this software or whose computer solution is erroneous. Great emphasis will be put on the students' independent work.
