English

The aim of the course is to introduce the German language in its continuous development, to inform about the reasons for changes in language, to characterize individual developmental stages in more detail, and to understand the present stage of language as the outcome of hundred-year development of language, understand trends in present language as reasons for future development. Language development is seen with the constant aspect of the development of the society as one of the conditions of language development. Language is characterized in all language plans.

Cíl předmětu: diachronický pohled na jazyk jako prostředek pochopení vývojových tendencí současného německého jazyka, relikty a progresivní jevy v současném jazyku. Osnova předmětu: 1) němčina jako člen indoevropské jazykové rodiny, indoevropská a germánská porovnávací jazykověda; 2) periodizace dějin německého jazyka, dialektální členění jazykového území; 3) odraz společenského vývoje ve vývoji jazyka, úloha osobností (Martin Luther); 4) nejdůležitější vývojové tendence v oblasti hláskosloví od staré horní němčiny po ranou novou němčinu a jejich odraz v současném jazyku; 5) úzus a norma
