English

This introductory course in text linguistics combines two major disciplines, namely text linguistics in the narrow sense, and stylistics. The students will examine micro-textual links, both grammatical and lexical, they will explore thematic progressions, macrotextual relations, and the structure of paragraphs. They will be given practice in analysing authentic texts representing stylistic varieties.

Úvodní kurz textové lingvistiky v sobě spojuje dvě disciplíny, tedy textovou lingvistiku v užším smyslu a stylistiku. Studenti analyzují mikrotextové vazby, jak gramatické, tak lexikální, všímají si tematických posloupností, makrotextových vztahů a seznamují se se strukturou odstavců. Analýza autentických textů směřuje k vymezení funkčních stylů.
