This course is a continuation of Writing I which is a pre-requisite. In-class work and assignments are based on the methods of development studied in Writing I but are expected to be at a more sophisticated level. There is an emphasis on overall article/essay structure and argumentation (persuasion). Students' creative writing (i.e., poetry/short fiction) is also touched on briefly.

Kurs navazuje na Psaní I. Činnost na seminářích a domácí zadání vycházejí z metod, s kterými se studenti seznámili v Psaní I, studentské práce by však měly vykazovat vyšší úroveň. Důraz se zde klade na celkovou stavbu esejí a článků a na argumentaci. Studenti se částečně seznámí i s metodami tvůrčího psaní studentů (poezie a kratší prozaické útvary).
