Annotation -
The course is mainly aimed at action research and analysis of real teaching. The analyses are based on videorecordings of mathematics lessons in various countries including the Czech Republic. The aim is not to compare individual countries but to learn to a) watch a lesson and notice important phenomena, b) learn new methods and think about the methods we are using. The analyses are made mainly from the point of view of a constructivist approach to teaching.

  • preparation and realisation of own research, writing a research report

The work in the seminar can lead to the topic of a diploma thesis.
