The course conception is based on a WHO document called "Health 21". It is based on framework educational programmes for elementary education, namely on the expected outputs in the field of health promotion in primary schools. It provides background for implementing key topics into education. Students prepare quarterly plans for individual grades, adopt specific forms and methods of working with pupils.

The aim of the course is to develop the competences of teachers-to-be for the preparation and implementation of health promotion programs into the school curriculum in primary education. Students taking part in the course integrate expert knowledge gained during current studies of the homogenous variation called "Health education" into new structures and didactically transform them into school educational projects.
