Course completion requirements

Each student is obliged to:

1) Attend all four teaching blocks fully and in person.

2) Work on the team project during the semester based on the teachers' instructions.

3) Present the project to the simulated investor board at the end of the semester.

Each student who fulfills all three points will receive credits. Not fulfilling any of the points will result in no credits.

Teaching methods

The course will be taught in 4 evening blocks, each taking approx. 3 hours. There will be an external expert with rich experience on building software products for each block.

The students will also work on their small team product-oriented project and they will have to defend it on a simulated investor board at the end of the semester.

Syllabus -

Deploying code to production is only a small part of starting and scaling a business. In this course, you will discover how to build a real software product and launch a business around it. You'll learn how to assemble and expand a team, scale, and design and develop software with an emphasis on customer outcomes that command a premium price over mere features. This course covers essential aspects of product management, including business metrics, financial management, and marketing strategies.
