Annotation -
The course will expose students to commonly used technologies in managing small and medium computer networks connected to the public Internet, with a primary focus on traffic routing and overall security. The course does not cover monitoring, automation technologies, or the use of AI. It is assumed that you have previously completed the courses NSWI141 and NTIN060.

Course completion requirements -

Students obtail class credit for a functional simulation of a complex network according to an assignment drawn by random. Attendance at classes is not required, but it is strongly recommended. Homework assignments are optional.

The exam consists of independent preparation and subsequent discussion of a given topic. Students may make use of arbitrary literature.

Class credit is prerequisite for taking the exam.
