Goal of this seminar is informing its attendands about things in the world of free operating systems.

Participants tell each other about parts of system they know, and place their talks on the web as HTML page. The topic is (free) applications, linux distributions, support of some HW, and so on.

Cílem semináře Linux je vzájemná informovanost jeho účastníků o dění ve

světe tohoto operačního systému. Seminář probíhá referativní formou, kdy

každý student vypracuje a přednese příspěvek na vybrané téma. Referáty se

mohou zabývat jak jednotlivými aplikacemi tak distribucemi, systémovým SW,

klasickým i speciálním HW a podobně. Přednesené referáty jsou poté

přístupné ve formě HTML dokumentu nejen pro účastníky semináře.
