Annotation -
The aim of the course is to present main characteristics of scientific texts. Language means used in scientific texts, structure of scientific texts and their specific features (literature citations etc.) will be explained and exemplified. Within the course students write and present a research paper.

Course completion requirements:

Students have to

  • submit an abstract
  • give an oral presentation accompanied by slides
  • take part in the review process
  • submit the full text of their paper

by the deadlines agreed in the first week.

Active participation required.

Grading is based on the full text.
