Annotation -
The creation, utilization and testing of professional numerical software. Basic knowledge of numerical methods is required. Freely distributed numerical software will be used for exercises.

The course gives students a knowledge of existing numerical software, its creation, utilization, testing and assessment of obtained results.

Automatic integration of ordinarz differential equations, types of numerical methods, control of accuracy.

Code RKF45, boundary value problems, adaptive choice of time step.

Algorithm and software for a numerical solution of linear algebraic systems.

Mesh generation and adaptation for numerical solution of partial differential equations.

Available mathematical software, typical asks of numerical analysis.

Software for visualization of numerical results.

Practice: Use of free software for a solution of ordinary differential equations, creation of own software for the solution of an elliptical equation with the aid of finite element method and anisotropic mesh adaptation.
