Basic lecture on descriptive geometry devoted to important surfaces of technical practice, their properties, usage in practice, displaying in various projections and surface modeling on computer.

2. Submission and (online) of three homework which will be assigned during the semester.

Syllabus -

Revolved surfaces - their creation and basic properties

Ruled surfaces – their creation and basic properties, developable and non-developable ruled surfaces.

Helix, creation and properties of helical surfaces, ruled helical surfaces, cyclic helical surfaces.

Other significant surfaces of technical practice (e. g. translational surfaces, pipe surfaces).

Geometry of shadows in various projections.

Use of 3D modeling software.
