The course describes basic methods and problems of cryptography. One by one, basic cryptographic primitives (modules) are described. The course also conatins implementation and overview of the most important protocols.

Basic systems (substitution, transposition, steganography). Pseudo-random generators. Symmetric cryptography (block and stream ciphers). Asymmetric cryptography. One-way functions. Hash functions. MAC. Signature scheme. Implementation of concrete protocols (including protocols based on zero-knowledge proofs).
