An elective course for second- and third-year Bachelor students of the General Mathematics program, building upon the course NMAG262 Convex bodies. After discussing basics from the theory of valuations on convex bodies, we will prove important structural statements about the space of continuous, translation invariant valuations and outline their applications, in particular to integral geometry.

Výběrová přednáška pro 2. a 3. ročník oboru Obecná matematika, volně navazující na předmět NMAG262 Konvexní tělesa. V průběhu kurzu budou nejprve probrány základní pojmy z teorie valuací na konvexních tělesech. Dále budeme dokazovat důležitá tvrzení o prostoru spojitých translačně invariantních valuací a diskutovat jejich aplikace, zejména v integrální geometrii.
