The course extends the participant's English skills within the field of computing. The course includes discussions, lexis, grammar (mainly syntax) and writing exercises, and student presentations on computing topics. The course is included in the credit system of the Faculty. Enrollment in this course is limited.

To meet the requirements it is necessary to participate in class regularly, actively work in the classroom and fulfill all homework assignments. The nature of the subject's examination excludes the repetition of such examination.

NB: The course content is shaped by the needs of students - at the beginning of the semester a needs analysis is always done and the course content for that semester is planned with the input of the students.
