Grammar
Knowledge of the following will be expected: Presente de Indicativo, Pretérito perfecto simple/indefinido and Pretérito perfecto compuesto (hablo, hablé, he hablado) - basic forms and usage, Imperative, and the differences between SER - ESTAR - HAY. Will be revised and practised in detail all through the course.

  • Futuro imperfecto (hablaré)

  • object clauses with the preposition SI
  • AL + INFINITIVE for simultaneous actions
  • prepositions PARA and POR, and preposition A for expressing distance
  • conjunctions PERO, SINO, SINO QUE

  • contrast between Pretérito perfecto simple/indefinido and Imperfecto -
  • EMPEZAR A, DEJAR DE, ESTAR A PUNTO DE, ACABAR DE, VOLVER A + INFINITIVO
