This course is intended not only for students with an interest in business, but also anyone who wishes to develop a
more formal and "diplomatic" style when using English.
It is designed for students with little or no work experience in the business world. A minimum level of upper-
intermediate English is required to participate.
The course is included in the credit system of the Faculty. Enrollment in this subject is limited.

Various aspects of formal and business English will be covered, including, but not limited to, writing, formal announcements, and negotiations, with a primary focus on vocabulary, relevant phrases, and a style of communication appropriate for business situations as well as for general formal situations.
In-class activities will include group work, role-plays, creation of mock companies, and discussion of business situations.
Part of the course will also focus on CV writing and honing interview skills.
