Carbon nanostructures acquired recently a lot of attention. These new materials are attractive due to unique
properties which cannot be seen in known traditional bulk materials. The lecture summarize synthetic methods,
approaches to study nanomaterials and prospective applications of carbon nanostructures. (Alternative to
