The subject is: (1) to familiarize students with the course of the conference, (2) to teach them the preparation of oral
contributions and posters, (3) to prepare them to the discussion during the conference, (4) to prepare them for
writing articles (and answers to the opponents), and (5) finally, to present their first scientific results.
The course is primarily designed for doctoral students.

Podmínkou udělení zápočtu je aktivní vystoupení na konferenci (referát nebo poster), což je povinné pro všichny studenty. U studentů 1.-3. ročníku je součástí zápočtu i příprava a přijetí článku do sborníku conference (napsání článku je povinné pro studenty 1.-3. ročníku, u ostatních se řeší individuálně podle výsledků studia).
