1. overview, introduction, history

2. structure of photosynthetic apparatus from macro to micro, photosynthetic and respiratory membranes

3. photosynthetic pigments, structure, biosynthesis and spectral properties

4. reaction centres of the first and the second type, water splitting

5. antennae, energy transfer, protective mechanisms

6. plastochinol cytochromes, ATP and NADPH production, Z-scheme

7. dark phase: carbon assimilation, photorespiration

8. measurements of photosytnesis: variable fluorescence, optothermal spectroscopy, gasometry

9. spectroscopic methods, pump&probe, hole-burning
