1) Linear Circuits
Analysis of unsteady-state linear circuits by using of differencial equations and Laplace transform. Circuit characteristics and parameters, active and passive elements. Quadrupole, its matrix representation and using for electrical circuits analysis. 2) Analog Electronic Circuits DC and AC amplifiers, RC and single stages direct coupling, power amplifier. Ideal and real operational amplifier, feedback. Wide- and narrow- band amplifiers, DC differential amplifiers, drift and its rejection. Harmonic and non-harmonic signal generators, signal limiting and shaping. Analog data processing circuits., function converters, active filters, analog integrating and differentiating circuits. Noise definition, types of noise, low-level measurements with pure signal to noise ratio, amplitude and shape time analysis - Fast Fourier Transform. 3) Fundamental Principles of Logical Circuits Logical variable, electronic circuits performing logical operations. Combinative logical circuits, codes, information coding and decoding, sequential logical circuits, registers and counters, low and middle scale integration logical circuits, production technology and standard types overview, summing circuits, memory etc. 4) Fundamental principles of the computer architecture Computer and its basic architecture. Processor, operational memory, internal buses, input and output circuits, interrupt and DMA circuits. Single-chip microprocessor systems. 5) Principles of the Computer Control of an Experimental Setup Transducers, analog signal digitization and sampling, A/D and D/A converters. Data acquisition and processing. PC communication with an experimental setup. High-speed data transmission solved by using a high-frequency transmission line model, input/output computer interfacing, standard communication interfaces and PC plug-in data acquisition cards.
