The goal of the seminar is to teach students how to write their own
scientific article, report or thesis. The seminar will concern itself
primarily with texts about artificial humans, possibly computer graphics
or artificial intelligence. It is supposed that each student has already
started with his/her diploma or bachelor thesis, or is writing a
scientific article, or is working on his/her own research, preparing a
report about it. During the seminar, we will work with these texts
intensively.

Cílem semináře je naučit studenty napsat vlastní článek nebo bakalář. či diplom. práci. Seminář bude primárně
zaměřen na přípravu textů z oboru učitelství informatiky, případně počítačových her či umělé inteligence.
Předpokládá se, že student má buď zadanou bakalář. či dip. práci z některého z těchto oborů a je ve stadiu, kdy
začíná psát vlastní text, nebo provádí vlastní výzkum, o kterém chce napsat článek. Během semináře bude student
intenzivně pracovat s tímto textem. Je vhodné, aby se studenti předtím, než si seminář zapíší, poradili s garantem
předm. ohledně tématu práce.

Scientific communication. Types of scientific works and their layout
How to formulate an idea. An expression of an idea and a coherence of
logically linked ideas across the text. Typical mistakes and how to avoid
them.
Corrections and revisions. Critical reading of owns texts.
Graphical layout. Rules for usage of notes, citations, graphs, pictures
and others.
Publication in scientific magazines. Popularization. How to prepare a
poster and how to make a good presentation.

Dvouhodinové semináře, cca 5-6 kurzů, potom práce s vlastním textem
Vědecká komunikace aneb komu, co, jak a proč chci sdělit. Typy vědeckých prací a jejich uspořádání.
Formulování myšlenky, vyjádření myšlenky a udržení logicky navazujících myšlenek napříč celou prací. Chyby, kterých se už dopustili jiní a kterých je třeba se vyvarovat.
Korektury, revize a opravy. Kritické čtení vlastního textu.
Grafická úprava textu. Pravidla používání poznámek, citací, grafů, obrázků a dalších.
Publikace ve vědeckých časopisech, popularizace, příprava prezentace, posteru, základy správného přednášení. Čeština a angličtina ve vědě.
