Electrons, holes. band structure. Homogeneous semiconductor. Drift, diffusion, generation, recombination, carriers
trapping and tunneling. Inhomogeneous semiconductor. Basic optical properties of semiconductors, mechanisms
of optical absorption and emission. Photoelectric effects. Detection of light, parameters of detectors.
Luminescence, mechanisms of radiative recombination. Experimental methods.

Elektrony, díry, pásová struktura. Homogenní polovodič. Drift, difuze, generace, rekombinace, zachycení a tunelování
nosičů. Nehomogenní polovodič. Základní optické vlastnosti polovodičů, mechanismy optické absorpce a emise.
Fotoelektrické jevy. Detekce světla, parametry detektorů. Luminiscence, mechanismy zářivé rekombinace. Experimentální
metody.
