Annotation -
Introduction to the processing of experimental data, static data analysis, estimations of uncertainty. Emphasis is placed on practical applications of statistical methods in the evaluation of data obtained in physical measurements. Errors of measured quantities, basic concepts of mathematical statistics, distributions important in physics and their properties. Estimation of parameters. The maximum likelihood method, the least squares method, linear and non-linear regression. Testing of hypothesis.
