Annotation -
This course provides to extend knowledge from previous general lecture "Historical and stratigraphical geology". Periods of Mesozoic and Cenozoic are widely characterized. Their detailed stratigraphical subdivision, aspects of life, extinctions, index fossils, palaeogeography, palaeoclimatology, facial development of individual regions and other features are mentioned.
