Microteaching takes place during the second and third semesters of the study program and aims to prepare students for continuous pedagogical practice. Students independently prepare partial teaching activities under the guidance of a faculty educator, which they carry out together with a supervising teacher in a classroom. Alternatively, the student's fellow classmates may role-play as the class for the teaching activity. After rehearsing the activity, students, along with the instructor, discuss and reflect on its execution: preparation, set objectives, appropriateness of the method used, student communication, and more. Microteaching I primarily focuses on teaching geology within the school premises, school laboratories, and similar settings.

Mikrovyučování I probíhá druhý semestr studia a má za cíl připravit studenty na souvislou pedagogickou praxi. Studenti sami připravují dílčí výukové aktivity pod vedením fakultního pedagoga, které realizují společně s provázejícím učitelem ve třídě, případně třídu modelují spolužáci studenta DPS. Po nácviku dané aktivity studenti i s vyučujícím diskutují a reflektují její provedení: přípravu, stanovené cíle, adekvátnost použité metody, komunikaci studenta apod. Mikrovyučování I je zaměřeno především na výuku geologie v prostorách školy, školní laboratoře apod.

Syllabus -
Microteaching takes place during the second and third semesters of the study program and aims to prepare students for continuous pedagogical practice. Students independently prepare partial teaching activities under the guidance of a faculty educator, which they carry out together with a supervising teacher in a classroom. Alternatively, the student's fellow classmates may role-play as the class for the teaching activity. After rehearsing the activity, students, along with the instructor, discuss and reflect on its execution: preparation, set objectives, appropriateness of the method used, student communication, and more. Microteaching I primarily focuses on teaching geology within the school premises, school laboratories, and similar settings. Field trips, walks in the surroundings, and excursions are covered by Microteaching II.
During the preparation and execution of microteaching, students:
Create preparation for microteaching (activity).
Choose appropriate teaching methods using a wide range of material and non-material didactic resources.
Develop instructional tasks and appropriately incorporate them, including suggestions for evaluation with an emphasis on formative assessment.
Reflect on the conducted microteaching and seek solutions to address any deficiencies.

Studenti během příprav a provedení mikrovyučování: - vytvářejí přípravu na mikrovýuku (aktivitu) - volí vhodné výukové postupy s využitím široké škály materiálních i nemateriálních didaktických prostředků - sestavují učební úlohy a vhodně je zařazují, včetně návrhů na jejich hodnocení s důrazem na formativní hodnocení - reflektují realizovanou mikrovýuku a hledají řešení k odstranění případných nedostatků
