Annotation -
The course focuses on understanding the fundamentals of the functioning of the economy and financial regularities both from the viewpoint of microeconomics (consumer and producer behavior, market power of supply and demand, functioning of money, etc.) and macroeconomics (inflation, gross domestic product, economic growth, monetary and fiscal policy, business cycles, etc.). Students will also gain a basic overview of the functioning of business economics, basic tax overview and fundamentals of financial market products (securities, investment products, loans, hedging instruments, etc.).
