This course focuses on practical work with information technology, internet and computers in context of chemical education. The main aim is to improve the student's ability to utilize chemical and educational application software, to search information in chemical databases available on the internet, and to gain experience handling the modern presentation equipment.

At least 80% participation in exercises and passing two practical tests (one in the middle and second at the end of semester) is required for granting the credit and passing the exam.

• Vizualization of molecules - orbitals, small molecules and biomolecules, Discovery Studio Visualizer

• Chemical databases - small molecules and drugs, biomolecules, protein data bank, VSEPR

• Presentation and educational technology - dataprojectors, interactive whiteboard, vizualizer, stereoscopy - principles, important parameters, utilization in chemical education
