The student can use several online translators to translate a discipline-specific to English text. The student analyzes the translation of a text using an online translator and suggests revisions to improve the translation. The student analyzes a curriculum document for teaching science (e.g., chemistry) in English. The student will assess the strengths and weaknesses of a foreign curriculum for teaching science (chemistry). The student prepares a discussion on a topic in the field, selects a text to be discussed, studies the text independently and prepares a summary; the student presents an overview of the text and moderates a discussion on the topic.
