The lecture is focused on analytical techniques that are employed for analysis of clinical and pharmaceutical samples. The basics of pharmaceutical technology of medical form are given, followed by lecture on contents and importance of pharmacopoeias for quality assurance of medical forms.

The systematic overview of medical forms (tablets, ointments, injections, etc.) and relationships between their physical and chemical structures and therapeutic effects are given in the frame of this lecture. The basic principles of classical pharmaceutical technologies as well as biotechnologies are discussed. The excursion to the pharmaceutical factory is included in the lecture.
