Requirements to the exam -

Active participation of students in all seminars is expected; the minimum attendance required to pass the course is 80%, and for first-year students, a presentation of progress in the diploma project using a poster is required.

Learning outcomes -

English Translation of Learning Outcomes1. Comprehension and Critical Evaluation of Expert Lectures (Analyze, Evaluate)

The student will analyze (Analyze) the content of lectures given by invited experts on current immunological topics and identify (Analyze) key new findings, methodologies, and controversial points in the field. They will be able to critically evaluate (Evaluate) the data presented and assess (Evaluate) their significance for the current state of scientific knowledge.

2. Active Professional Discussion (Apply, Evaluate)

The student will actively participate (Apply) in discussions following the lectures, where they formulate (Create) relevant questions and explain (Understand) their views on the professional topics discussed. They will defend (Evaluate) and support (Evaluate) their position by referencing acquired knowledge.

3. Creation and Presentation of a Scientific Poster (Create, Apply)

The 1st-year student will propose (Create) and create (Create) a scientific poster summarizing the progress of their Diploma Thesis. They will demonstrate (Apply) the ability to visually and effectively organize the objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions of the project on the poster.

4. Communication of Scientific Content at the Poster Session (Apply, Evaluate)

The student will present (Apply) the content of their poster to a professional audience and communicate (Apply) their scientific findings concisely and comprehensibly. They will respond to questions (Evaluate) concerning the methodology and interpretation of data on the poster and lead (Apply) a discussion about their project with interested attendees.
