One-week practical course is designed to introduce students to the methods of viral biotechnology. Students gain
strong theoretical background about the basic principles of viral expression systems, their possibility of usage for recombinant proteins expression or for production of virus-like particles and methods of their purification. Using virus-like particles as a model, the students gain practical experience with the methods of production (work with cell cultures and recombinant viruses) and purification (centrifugation in density gradients) of virus like particles.
