Continuing the Systematic Mycology I, the course is aimed at members of Ascomycota and Basidiomycota. The detail systematic treatment of orders and particular genera is given. Survey of morphology, biology, phylogeny, ecology, anamorph/teleomorph connection and corresponding terminology of these groups are mentioned. Recent studies are emphasized with focus on fungal morphology, life-cycles and ecology. During the practics, selected fungi mentioned in the lectures are surveyed by microscopy. The requirements for the practical course credit: sufficient participation on the courses, passing the final test (15-18 presented objects of the various, previously presented fungi need to be identified, classified and described).
